Post Covid-19 Reality

We are experiencing the strangest season of our existence. History is repeating itself in a different style. Covid 19 started in Wuhan China as an endemic and spread all over the world, becoming a pandemic. A pandemic is simply an endemic with a passport - it travels. This is easy to remember when you consider the first letter in pandemic (P) as standing for passport.

Could it be that civilization helped spread the virus all over the world? What if everyone stayed within their country or immediately the virus was discovered, all borders were shut down? We may never know, but all the same, civilization has come to stay. The only constant in life is change - Heraclitus.

History of the World

Many diseases have hit the world in times past ranging from cholera, tuberculosis, HIV, Ebola. Polio and the likes. None of these diseases left the world the same and now we are having to face Covid19 and one way or the other, we have to accept it and deal with it. 

Moment of Change

One action in a single moment can change a million moments that follow. Within you is that  extraordinary ability to shape your future by maximising the present. Leverage on this innate ability and refuse to make excuses for what is not working in your life. Do not make the mistake of waiting for things to get better because things are already better. Stop holding on to that which does not serve you. You cannot step into your terrifically bright future held down by past experiences, habits and beliefs that keep you chained in the past.

 Stop blaming others for what is not world-class in your world. You have the power to create so much of what you want. Own it.

Get into yourself

Doing creative work that fills you with joy is a gorgeous route to happiness. And do not do it for the fame, fortune or applause it will bring you. Those never last. Do it for the stains it removes from your soul and for the people who will be blessed by your genius. If you look within you, you will find faith, if you look without, you will find fear.

The Transition

We are in a new era and the only challenge may be what you are used to. The past is history and the future is here. The positive side of the coin is that we are all starting afresh. No matter what anybody tells you, it does not mean they have been through this road before. All that you need is the sheer confidence to step out courageously and people will follow suit. You are reading this article now because somebody stepped out. How long will it take you to make up your mind? What other motivation do you need that is stronger than hunger?

Covid 19 Reality

The reality is that most jobs are gone for good. This can either be a fortune or misfortune depending on the individuals involved. I was once into a business that I was so engrossed with and that took all my time. I was making money but had no life. I had to pray and fast for God to liberate me. You may not understand this but I started the business without a blueprint and never planned for the massive increase and growth that came. I reached that peak where I didn't have a life again. I was a slave to a system I had created unconsciously. I was making a lot of money but didn't have time to attend to other important things in life. No time to even attend my friends’events. I was running from pillar to post with the euphoria that I was doing well. People were demanding stocks from me and due to my naivety, I was scared of soliciting help from others because I thought they would take my opportunity away as well as my money. Other were enjoying my labour as I had literally turned into an ATM machine.  I was young but counting millions till at a point I wished I didn't start at all because to stop became a very big challenge. It got to a point I had to run away from the city, leaving everything behind in Lagos to start a new life.

It is the same kind of situation we have today; most people were actually praying for this moment unconsciously. Have you ever wished traffic away especially if you live in Lagos? That's the prayer? Have you ever been threatened at your job and secretly wished it was not so? That's the prayer. Have you ever wished that your time was under your control and you could utilize it the way you thought best so you can have more time for your family, friends and all the people that matter? That's the prayer! Have you ever thought that you deserved better? That's the prayer and the answers to all the prayers are here -

Post Covid Expectations

The formula for success is what you know plus who you know multiplied by who knows you. Are you good at something the world needs at this time? Does the world know that you have the solution. Relationships matter so does your knowledge.

Leverage

You can ask for help or Collaborate with already existing platforms. It is called leveraging.

Monitor where the economy is going.

Logistics is going up, do you have a plan to cut your share?

Digital marketing is simplified, do you have a map? 

The health industry is shifting; People are cashing in on the transition from medication to healthy living. What about you?

Take a Position

The world has been reset and everything has changed. There will always be the poor, the weak, the victims etc. among us. However, you can decide to be the rich, strong, victor and trail blazer.

Be part of history so that in the next ten (10) years you will be happy you made the right choice. Look within, find yourself and make a difference.
