RCCG DISCOVERY CENTER

‘’A place where destinies are discovered and champions are raised’’

RCCG Discovery Center was birthed in 2010 over as one of the earliest Youth churches of the newly founded Youth Province in Lagos, Nigeria. Tasked with the onerous undertaking to raising a generation of young people who are sold out to kingdom’s pursuit, the Discovery Center initially headed by Pastor James (later headed by Pastor Jide Oluleye) set out in the might of the Holy Spirit to set a refined standard for holiness in a perverted world and a touchstone of diligence against all odds of mediocrity.

The Church leadership echelon was handed over to Pastor Gbenga Odunowo on April 4, 2012 thereby setting a new dawn that raised the pledge to make the church, a model of righteousness, power and grace.

The church is a Youth and Young Adult Zonal Headquarters with proven manifestation of God’s power through the divine mandate of reaching out to the lost, restoring hopes to the depressed. Topmost on our agenda is to preach the undiluted word of God, upholding sound doctrines, to make Heaven and to take as many as possible to Heaven – in line with the general body’s mission statement. Our Motto, “a place where destinies are discovered and champions are raised”, summarizes the ethos of the church particularly as it affects the mental and spiritual development of its members and entire workforce.

Under the auspices of the governing body of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Discovery center plays the pivotal role of evangelism, engineering a fundamental order characteristic of a modern Church guided by the principles of ancient landmarks of salvation, deliverance and global outreach for Christ. By HIS grace, the Church which started at Tantalizer Building, Shipeolu Street, Palmgroove has moved to permanent site a Zonal Headquarters under the RCCG Discovery Center is focused on initiatives, events, interventions and community outreaches that are enablers and beneficial to the social well-being of the communities that it serves. Amongst these interventions includes the Monthly Breakfast Prosperity Meeting, the Annual Youth Fire Conference, monthly 5-days of Glory etc.
